StWilliam_80.jpg

Episode 80: Alison and Timothy discuss the wondrous life of William Woodruff, a hermit from Colebrook River, Connecticut. From newspaper articles, town histories, census records, wills, and  various other sources, we piece together William's story - a fatherless child turned town dandy, who walked away from society, grew hollyhocks, gazed at the stars, and kept a vow of silence for much of his life. We also discuss a "wild man" flap which occurred in the area during William's lifetime - and tell the tale of William being mistaken for bigfoot.

Episode 71: We present four more Flannel Man accounts this episode. First we talk to Brad who saw Flannel Man beside a lake. Brad then tells us about a weird photo taken of his wife, an encounter with another dark entity, and some other strange experiences. Next, we hear Dan's experience of seeing Flannel Man as a child. Alison then reads a Flannel Man account sent in by Ruthann. Finally, we hear a story of a Flannel Man seen almost simultaneously by Sheila and her daughter - in two separate rooms of the same house! It is perhaps the scariest Flannel Man account we have heard.

A listener  emailed about an encounter his grandmother had with a hairy, moaning, creature issuing horrible cries. The family uncovered a letter his grandmother had written, detailing the encounter. After the letter, we talk with John Olsen who shares stories of ghosts, creatures, and glitches in the matrix from his books Stranger Bridgerland and Beyond Stranger Bridgerland.

Episode 67: On December 12, 2018 Nick woke up to some very weird nighttime visitors in his bedroom. He contacted us immediately afterward and we scheduled a time to document his encounter. Were these beings some kind of alien? Visitors from the realm of the fae? Timothy is joined by Joshua Cutchin as we hear Nick's story and compare it to other tales of the faeries and the alien greys.
